It was a sweet return to the Sonscreen Film festival for Carmel Greystone. They went one better than their BEST INTERNATIONAL ENTRY win for One Hope Street in 2006. In April 2009 Carmel Greystone won BEST DRAMA at SonScreen with Holy Hush. A moving drama based on incidences of abuse being covered up by the clergy.

In August 2009 Carmel Greystone partnered with Put It Down to produce Choose Life, a short film reflecting the pain and effects youth gun & knife crime has on communities.
